Midi Keyboard Not Recognized Mac
- Apr 09, 2012 I have a Studiologic Numa which connects via USB. For some reason when I connect the USB cable it powers on the keyboard but mac does not recognize it at all, and Audio Midi Setup is useless when I ask it to rescan midi. Hi there,Big problem, my midi keyboard Prodipe 49n is not recognized at all by my new iMac.Nothing wrong with the keyboard itself or the cable, cos I'm perfectly able to plug it on my macbook and everything's fine.No driver whatsoever to install, and again, it's supposed to be plug n play. But no plug n play on my iMac.I compared my imac and my macbook's midi settings on Logic, they're the same.I tried reseting midi drivers under logic midi settings, nothing. I tried the keyboard under GarageBand, nothing.Any idea? I'm really desperate, as I can't bring it back, because it's prefectly working with my macbook. Hi there,Yeah plug in USB. But nothing happened. On my macbook, the keyboard is in Audio Midi setup, and I never did anything about it, it appeared by its own. But not in my iMac. I tried to fake it, by adding a new midi device, with the same names and else as on my macbook, but still nothing.Any other ideas?I think it's my iMac that has a problem. I tried restarting it 3 times already, but still nothing.

Wireless Keyboard Not Recognized
This was really helpful, but may I ask, how do I fix the ”connection problem”. When I first opened garageband, it asked me if I wanted to connect my midi keyboard, I pressed connect and it worked fine, I could toggle the commands from the knobs and switches of the keyboard. The last time I used it I pressed the ’do not connect automatically again’ box and connected it, but after that, I couldn’t control garageband from the keyboard knobs/switches. I hope you are able to help me.ThankyouBest regards, Sean Malvaroza.
