Sims 4 Career Top 3 Charts. With the introduction of two new Sims 4 careers and the rebalancing of the existing ones. I took some time to do some deep analysis of the new career landscape. Some of the choices are based purely on hard data, others have some subjective components to them. Without any further ado. Here are the Sims 4 Career.
SulSul Simmers! We have played, and played, and played again with the new Island Paradise EP. And since we want to go back to playing I need to give you the latest news! This news is brought to you by The EA Game Changers Network. What a GREAT program it is.
News News Everywhere.so if one of us misses something the others will find it.There is loads to do in this EP from swimming to boating to getting sunburn. New recipes, new activities and NEW STUFF FOR YOUR GAME! We all like new stuffs. I'm going to give you a narrative in pictures so you can get a feel for the Island. Sorry about the plumbobs you are about to see, but to us it's NOT sims without the plumbobs! SulSul Simmers! We're going to blab a bit about the new EP coming Island Living Expansion Pack.TSR is in the Game Changers Network so we got to have a private stream with EA at EA Play.
So to get the legal out of the way, this review brought to you by the Game Changers Network. What we found out so far is amazing! A few things coming to Base Game without the pack.
Lounge chairs and interactions. The ability to randomize your traits in CAS. Also a new interaction 'clothing Optional' will also come with a base game update.
It will still be a kid friendly blur clothing optional, but basically you'll be able to go to clothing optional venues and just be clothing optional. Another base game update will turn all part time jobs into jobs for adults also. Now on to the EP goodies. We will just list what we saw so far.1. There is a new world with 3 neighborhoods.
One with an active volcano. It leaves lava bombs that have different interactions you can do with them.2. You will be able to up conservation in the game giving you some cool affects and options.
There are 3 tiers of conservation.3. You will get beach towels, be able to sunbathe and yes sunburn too. You will be able to 'prank' tan other sims leaving tan marks on their body like hands, lips, or drawings.4.
There is a flotation device that you can float on that also moves about in the water. Has the interaction to splash other sims.5. Sims can swim in the new world only, however EA is not ruling out implementing this for other worlds down the line. They are also not ruling out future worlds being enabled for swimming.6. New interactive object-firepit. Complete with banana leaves to give it that island cooking.7. Snorkeling and diving buoys are added for your sims to be able to swim and dive.
Swimming and water activities will build their fitness skills which will be VERY important for this pack. The better your fitness, the more swimming styles you can unlock.8. They have added several aquatic animals including frogs, turtles, dolphins, and sharks. The dolphins can be interacted with. Like any animal, you have to build the relationship. The higher the dolphin relationship.the more tricks you can do with them. You can feed the dolphins fish you have fished for.9.
They have included working boats. One is an Island style boat and one is a jet ski type vehicle. The Island style boat can be used to satisfy some needs while in use and the jet ski will enable you to do tricks the more you practice. You will be able to fish from the boat.10. There is an 'off the grid' option of living on one of the islands which has a waterfall you can shower in and woohoo in. Off the grid will be a new trait.11. And the last thing I can share today is the addition of Mermaids.
The mermaids/mermen will have a new plumbob and a new need for moisture. Bathtubs will be able to fill that need as well as swimming. They will have 'mermaid powers' (which are pretty cool from what we saw) and tails when they get wet.Now this was just a small taste of what we think will be an epic pack! We cannot wait to get our hands on it and see all the stuff they may not have covered with us. So stay tuned as we wait to get a preview pack to bring you more news. That being said, it seems weird that they would get rid of such basic stuff such as medicine, business and science: Also it bugs me that there still isn't much in there way of proper scientific careers. Sims 2 wasn't so bad, the science career was pretty over arching and generalized which was acceptable for the time; but in the sims 3 the science career was pretty much biology, and they chucked any signs of chemistry, physics, or geology out the window.

They didn't even make a good use of the science skill when that was introduced. Still I'm excited for the game and interested in what kinds of stuff they might add in the future with this new system.
Also I liked that writing/painting were things you could do at home to make money, I don't see the value of making your sim disappear to work to do it. I don't get the decisions they made with careers at all.Credit to:My Test Legacy founder joined the writing career under the author's branch. The nature of the job titles and the requirements for promotions made it very clear that your sim only did this 'job' part time, and was meant to supplement the income with royalties from their own books. The hours were fairly short and there were LOTS of days off, and the requirements often involved writing and publishing books for yourself. If I had to guess (I didn't test it directly) the Journalism track probably has a more 9-5 feel to it, and doesn't demand quite as much independent writing from you as the author track does.Basically, you still can write and paint to support yourself without the career if you're so inclined, and if you join the appropriate branch of your career, you'll still be making most of your money that way. Making a career out of it just creates more of a sense of progression and provides you with a small stipend, a la Sims 3 Professions.
Sims 4 Scientist Career Moral Choices
This is a pretty accurate assessment. Some careers are more like your typical, full time, 9 to 5. Other careers, are more part time but they sort of give you the tools necessary to make a little money on the side. And, I can't speak for certain (we're only now releasing the game so who knows what the future holds) so don't quote me on this but, much likes Sims 2 and Sims 3, I imagine we'll be releasing more careers as we move forward.
Again, this isn't a confirmation of anything.i'm just a programmer after all.:PEdit: I want to mention that, when I say 'part time' I don't mean it in the sense that you'll only work a few hours per week. As you can see in the images, you'll still be at work for 8-ish hours per day. But, as pointed out, there will be things you can do at home, on your own time, to gain more money (i.e.
