Here's what I think:Gas Grenades are good, but if there are 2 medics then only bastille should use them, since bastille is the one who's responsible for covering the back and helping the SW. If there is 1 medic, on most maps it's still better to use freeze nades as support. It also depends on the difficulty and the map you are playing.Heavy Rifle is an alternative for minigun if you are playing Special Weapons but I still prefer the minigun since it has better accuracy, especially when you are crouching. That can help shoot xenomites and incoming parasites. Heavy rifle might be better at killing hordes thanks to it's 5 second double fire rate alt-fire feature but with correct angle minigun can be as effective.As for Medical SMG, I've seen people using 2 of those rifles in a loadout, which may be a viable strategy at first glance, until you realise that when playing Onslaught or ASBI, tesla + medic gun is still a more sober choice. Gasnades too OP, they are on the level of firemines. In alot of situations even better.and they are throwable and instant active.just on asbi u have to watch for some enemies going through.

Even on asbi.the ability to fight and heal without a real pause (like swapping weapons) is really helpfull in some situations.(still one medic at front should go for tesla.)bastille can take out a horde with a fastreload or a weaponswitch. All suckIn big squads meds dont provide any real damage because u cant simply shoot all together without chaos and friendly fire. And u better to support to team.In small squads u can pick better character and simply avoid alien damage with better items (mines instead of a gas) or better coversupport again (pick flamermedgun and cover rear if u really want a med etc) And small squad gives u less aliens, so again u dont really need that additional med firepower.In theory the only thing when med is ammo bringer with new rifle so u can have no sw in small formation, but u need to have really long no ammo map(something really rare). Still easier with sw tho with better rear cover.

Medrifles cant stop a horde, thats just it.Vindicators are better then rifles on officers, sw have minigun or even deagledeva, chaisaw is epic on vegas, crash is prob one that can have a rifle, but lmao he has a prototype rifle, about meds i typed above.Every character can pickup a flamer as best hit and run gun, tesla has no ff and pretty good for same role too.Every shooter has some gun for the beginning with manyunlimited ammo to use when u run out of everything. Gas grenade needs a bigger radius. It currently has a same area of effect as an amp field. Given that fire mines can be placed anyway you want, this should bring the gas grenade into line with it. I suggest the diameter should be at least 4 marines. It should be a good area of denial. Anything walking through it should get a nice stun so tesla coils are not needed. The duration should be extra on bastile and not faith.Medical SMG is a nice gun.

However, you can not heal when you need to reload. That means if you are out of clip, you can't heal until you reload.unless I am wrong. Clip size should be increased to 90 and medical kit should be 60. Bringing two guns should then give you 120 heals or about 2/3 of two medic guns.I see others commenting with the outlook of ASBI or such. IMO the game should be balanced upon the traditional Brutal Ons. Anything above that difficulty, requires special loadout or team configuration.
