Hi,I was wondering what the best possible soul farming would be and which gear combo.Symbol of Avarice (50% extra souls). The Covetous Silver Serpent Ring (10% extra souls).Mendicant's Staff (20% extra souls) and the Shield of Want (20% extra souls).Or duel dual wield 2x Mendicant's Staff or 2x Shield of Want?.And then there is Overkill (20% extra souls) if you kill an enemy in one hit (which stacks with the extra souls gear). So yeah. Does it make sense to duel wield one over the other?
This is a Mod that aims to make the game more 'open' in the early game (if you endure the farming for it) and giving you tools to create extremely powerful characters to smash your way through tough bosses or higher NG cycles!Easy to install, easy to enjoy. Just be careful to block Dark Souls in your Firewall to play properly offline!
Is it better to find an enemy you can one-shot (in that case, which ones?) or is it simply better to ignore that 'Overkill' extra souls bonus? What do you guys think? Please let me know what the best possible combo and where it would make the most sense to farm.Thanks. Best souls per minute is still probably the three winged Knights at the top of grand archives. Take the elevator short cut and have it lower back down when you go to get off. Using avarice, Shield of want and silver serpent ring and whatever weapon does the most backstabbing dmg. Then circle and bs to death.
Then homeward bone or coiled sword fragment back to Grand archives bonfire. Elevator should already be at the bottom waiting. Should get you about 50k+ per run. Once you get the rhythm and timing down it goes quick.

Alternatively if you still need proofs of concord farm the 2 silver nights on the stairs at anor londo. By the time I got all the proofs I needed I had over 5 million souls.
