Fallout 76 is a rough game, but Bethesda is working on ways to make it slightly less broken. On Thursday, an Inside the post broke down some of the changes coming in Patch 5. Here's a breakdown of everything players can expect, and what the company Elder Scrolls built plans to do about the bugs and balancing issues.Exploits- Fallout 76 is currently packed with bugs and ways to cheat the system. Users have been able to find their way into a special 'developer room' that has access to every single item in the game. It's essentially destroyed the in-game economy, giving hackers a way to make infinite copies of weapons and sell them before getting banned. Thursday's post talks about how seriously Bethesda takes these exploits and says the developers are working with the support team to catch users who use them. 'As we continue to change the game, we fully expect to identify new issues, but we will continue track and resolve exploits,' the post said.Patch 5 Changes- Patch 5 will launch 'at the end of the month' and will include major balance changes.
The legendary two-shot shotgun mod only gives 25 percent additional damage and can no longer be looted out in the world. Also, loose weapon and armor mods will no longer be automatically scrapped. To help make events better, Bethesda is asking the players what they want on its forums. Expect this to devolve into a bunch of hateful screaming without much useful dialogue.Fallout 76 Without PVP- The blog post teased a new 'way to play Fallout 76 ' without PVP. Players have been begging for a game without other users since the wasteland's initial launch and Bethesda has finally answered their pleas.
